About GT Images

Architectural visualisation, 3D rendering and animation for architects, developers, designers and property professionals.

30+ Years of Architectural Visualisation Experience

GT Images was established in Melbourne in 1995 and has spent more than three decades creating architectural visualisation for architects, developers, designers and property professionals.

During that time, the tools have changed enormously, from the early years of computer-generated architectural imagery through to real-time rendering, advanced digital production and today’s AI-enhanced workflows. The fundamentals, however, remain the same: understanding architecture, perspective, materials, light and how to communicate a project clearly.

Founder Greg Thomas developed his architectural visualisation experience working alongside Australian architectural practices and on significant projects including Melbourne Airport, Melbourne Museum and the Queen Victoria Building restoration before establishing GT Images in 1995. Since then, the studio has worked across residential, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, public realm and property development projects throughout Australia.

That combination of architectural understanding, visual experience and evolving technology continues to shape how we approach every project.

EXPERIENCED PRODUCTION. DIRECT COMMUNICATION.

EXPERIENCE

More than three decades in architectural visualisation gives us perspective across changing technologies, project types and presentation requirements.

ARCHITECTURAL UNDERSTANDING

We work from plans, elevations, sections, CAD and 3D information to understand the design before determining how it should be presented.

PLANNING & PHOTOMONTAGE EXPERIENCE

Our verified photomontage workflow combines site photography, camera matching and 3D visualisation to create accurate representations for planning and project communication.

Experience That Continues to Evolve

GT Images has worked through more than three decades of change in architectural visualisation.

The technology we use today would have been unimaginable when the studio began in 1995, but our approach has remained consistent: understand the architecture, understand what the client needs to communicate, and choose the right tools to achieve it.

Today that can involve traditional 3D modelling and rendering, photography, animation, real-time visualisation, post-production and AI-enhanced techniques.

We continue to adopt new technology where it improves the work, while keeping experienced visual judgement at the centre of the process.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Greg is professional, a great communicator, and has an eye for detail supported by his commercial acumen. I worked with Greg on an industrial development project and am extremely satisfied with the output Greg had produced. Through the process, communication was clear and Greg had provided valued input to my brief as well.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Greg has an unbeatable eye for detail and visualization: whilst not a cheap overseas operator, he understands architecture, materials and scale. Easy to work with, prompt and never fails to deliver an outstanding representation of our projects
