SOURCE MATERIAL
Begin with the best available information, which may include technical drawings, dimensions, manufacturer specifications, CAD files or photography. Multiple photographic references can be used when detailed documentation is unavailable.
AI-ASSISTED REFERENCE GENERATION
Where appropriate, AI-assisted image and 3D reconstruction tools can help establish an initial reference for complex objects when source information is limited. This is a starting point, not the finished model.
EXPERT 3D MODELLING
An experienced 3D artist rebuilds, corrects and refines the geometry, checking proportions, construction details and visible features against the available reference material. Materials and surface characteristics are prepared for the final visualisation.
PRODUCTION-READY ASSET
The finished model is prepared as a clean, reusable production asset for architectural renders, product imagery, animation, different finishes and future visualisation work.

What types of 3D models does GT Images create?
GT Images can create 3D models of virtually any object, from complete buildings and architectural environments through to furniture, products and highly detailed individual items. Over the years we have modelled an enormous variety of subjects, including buildings, interiors, furniture, lighting, fixtures, manufactured products and specialist items such as fishing lures. If an object can be sufficiently documented through drawings, dimensions, CAD data, photographs or other reference material, we can generally recreate it as a detailed 3D asset.
Can you create a 3D model from photographs?
Yes. Where drawings or detailed product information aren’t available, we can create 3D models using photographs and other reference material. Multiple viewpoints, known dimensions and manufacturer information can help establish proportions and construction. AI-assisted reconstruction tools may also help establish an initial reference before the geometry is corrected and rebuilt by an experienced 3D artist. The finished asset is a controlled 3D model rather than an unrefined AI-generated result.
What information do you need to create an accurate model?
For architectural projects, source material usually includes plans, elevations, sections, CAD drawings or an existing model. For products and objects, we can work from technical drawings, dimensions, manufacturer specifications, photographs, product literature and other reference material. If documentation is limited, send us what you have and we can determine what else is required.

Yes. Existing architectural, furniture or product models can be assessed and, where suitable, adapted for professional visualisation. Work may include correcting geometry and scale, adding detail, reorganising the model, improving materials and textures, or preparing it for rendering and animation.
Can the finished model be reused for future projects?
Yes. Wherever practical, we develop 3D assets so they can support more than one final image. Architectural models can potentially be reused for additional viewpoints, photomontages, animations and future stages. Product models can be placed into different environments, shown from different angles and presented with alternative materials, colours or finishes.
What 3D file formats can you work with?
GT Images can work with a wide range of architectural, CAD and 3D model formats. Rather than publishing a long list that may become outdated, we recommend sending information about the files you already have. We can review the available model or CAD data and advise on the most appropriate workflow or preferred export format.
